1960s Native American Zuni Made Fetish Necklace

No returns or exchanges unless item is flawed or incorrect

1960s Native American Zuni Made Fetish Necklace by Lavina Kaskalla This beautiful three-strand fetish necklace was created by Zuni artist Lavina Kaskalla. This spectacular older piece was created using pinshell heishi, turquoise and shell. The birds are all handcut from spiny oyster and turquoise separated with pinshell. There are a few wolves and a bear in the mix.The necklace is finished with what is termed a squaw wrap, this means the three strands are wrapped with cotton string, an indication that this piece was not for the market, but for an Native American woman to wear. A wonderful piece of southwestern Native American Indian art to wear and enjoy.
